Connect Groups
Connect Groups are how we build meaningful relationships and grow in our faith throughout the week in a smaller, more intimate setting. These groups are designed to help us better know God and be known by others. Each group typically consists of a few people who meet to apply the Bible, build relationships, and care for one another. Community Groups meet regularly on Wednesday nights, some weekly and others fortnightly. Connect Groups are currently meeting in locations across Greenvale, Doreen, Mernda, Epping, Craigieburn, and Donnybrook.
Our goal is to create a safe environment where everyone feels comfortable sharing their heart, no matter what they’re going through. It’s a place where no one feels judged, but rather supported and comforted. Connect Groups are filled with fun and fellowship, where people enjoy each other's company. Above all, our desire is for you to feel valued and strengthened in every season of life. Discipleship is at the heart of Connect Groups. We encourage each member to grow in their relationship with Christ, with growth achieved through the application of God's Word, prayer, fellowship, and impartation. Sharing our faith is a key part of the Great Commission. It calls us not only to be disciples but to make disciples. In Matthew 5, Jesus tells us we are “the salt of the earth and the light of the world.” Connect Groups help equip people and build confidence to share their faith with family, friends, and those who don’t yet know Christ.
Young Families
Young Adults Ministry is a community of couples and single parents with young children, created to help members connect, be discipled, and engage in their Kingdom calling. Come and be encouraged as we gather to do life together, pray for one another, and be inspired by the Word of God.
Young Adults
Liberty Church Young Adults is passionate about creating opportunities for fellowship. While we are not a community group, we aim to foster meaningful relationships in a relaxed setting. We believe in the importance of hosting events where fellowship can thrive, and relationships are formed, ultimately leading to deeper engagement in community groups. We are convinced that community groups are the best place to apply the Bible to life and care for one another. We would love to help you connect further!
Men
We love competition, admire courage, and tackle projects with enthusiasm. But we also need connection—accountability, stability, and vulnerability, whether with someone else or within a group. We tend to connect more effectively side by sidethan face to face—our deepest friendships aren’t usually formed over Earl Grey tea or melting moments. Instead, they often begin in the heat of battle, amidst struggle, or in any other adrenaline-fueled environment. It’s in these moments that we learn to trust others.
Women
We seek women from all walks of life to aspire to their God-given potential and destiny. The Aspire woman is:
- Attractive: Her life radiates the love of God, drawing others to Christ.
- Spontaneous: She is always ready to respond to the voice of God.
- Purposeful: She is intentional in all she does, bringing glory to God.
- Inspirational: She motivates others in every aspect of her everyday life.
- Real: Her life is transparent and authentic.
- Empowering: She believes in and encourages others to reach their God-given potential.
